Acrylic mural

Here is a 2.5 x 1.5 meter acrylic mural of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. This mural was done on a large wall for the client’s office space. The joker is largely present in the space, and has a very distinguished vibe. The clown make-up covers his face and expresses joy and laughter, while the joker is actually bathed in suffering within and resorts to hiding his feeling with the mask. This is reflective of our contemporary society, with the various masks we wear throughout the day to cover our true self, in an attempt to conform to the value system of a skewed society. More often than not, the business world is highly reflective of this reality, where the bottom line is to get that cash, no matter what the cost, even our soul and connection with the Divine self.
